Award for my brother

Just couldn't help plugging my younger brother's achievement here. He was named North Carolina Charter School Teacher of the Year. All the charter schools in the state (I think around 100) nominate someone, and they narrow it down to 20 or so, then hit them with a bunch of interviews, watch them in class, etc, and decide on the winner. Now he gets to compete with the regional public school teachers of the year for the big prize, state teacher of the year.

Very cool.

My little brother is an elementary teacher in Cary. I wonder if they know each other.

Edit: It doesn't look like your brother teaches there, so I guess not.

Very Cool, teachers are underpaid and underappreciated by so many.
