Ping: Apache mod_rewrite experts

Problem: I have recently migrated a website from Site.org - Site Resources and Information. to archive.site.org and put a new version of the website at Site.org - Site Resources and Information.. Many users still have bookmarks pointing to the old site which now are 404 errors.

Solution: I would like for any requests to Site.org - Site Resources and Information. that are typically 404 errors to redirect to archive.site.org/page. Not all requests, just requests that fail (using http://www.site.ortg/%{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-f ??)
