Hey all, ALF here. So I complained to NBC and Izulde about not being let in the tournament and they told me to get a suit and I could play a big supporting role. I came to work in this suit and they told me, "No, you're not a referee. You're a commentator." I would've gone home to change, but it took me forever to get Willie to let me out of the house in the first place. Anyway, the TV show tournament's started and right now Seinfeld is beating up Friday Night Lights 94-28 and will get to play in the second round. But the tournament's boring, so let's see what the good folks on the Internet have to say. Quote:
Just goes to show much you know about sports and TV shows, big guy. But that's not surprising. I mean, you're not even a whole circle. You're just some line in it and you're so wrong, you're out of line. Ha! I kill me. Quote:
Thanks! I love you too, kiddo. Quote:
Napoleon? Isn't that the guy who blew up dynamite in that one ice skating movie? Then, no. I don't like to blow things up because my planet blew up and the ice skates aren't made for alien feet. Quote:
I hosted the Tonight Show once. They told me if I did well enough, I could replace Johnny Carson. And I did really well, but they said I tried to eat the vice president's wife's cat. Well, of course I did! It was a Persian with a hint of Siamese, my very favorite! I think they should fire Jay Leno and make me the host. I'd be great! Oh, and buy my seasons on DVD. Maybe that way I can make enough money to buy my own cat. Ha! I kill me!

Boom! What an exciting tournament we're having here. Seinfeld destroyed Friday Night Lights 128-34 in the tournament's opening game, which just goes to show you that if you score more points than your opponent, you have a very good chance of winning the game. But let's talk about some more first round games going on right now. South Park has a big 25-6 lead on I Love Lucy in the the Solecismic and that's no surprise, because South Park has Eric Cartman, who's a lot like Brett Favre. They're both tough, strong leaders who give 110% and know how to get the job done. They're winners and the best to ever play the game. Some people like to criticize Cartman but you have to respect his authority. He's just that good a player. Beverly Hills 90210 had a 14-8 lead over Mad Men at one point in the Izulde region, but that was before Mad Men came back to tie it up. 90210's just barely ahead at 16-15. I think they got overconfident or maybe they went to the hole with Shannon Doherty and Jennie Garth a few too many times. When you run the same play too many times in a row, the defense knows what to expect and they can stop you. The X-Files is up 19-13 over Futurama in the Eaglesfan27 and as long as they don't allow Futurama to catch up, they'll win the game and advance. The biggest surprise has to be in the Pumpy Tudors, where heavy favorites Star Trek are tied at 15 with Homicide: Life on the Street. I'm thinking it's got to be the David Simon factor that's giving Homicide such a power boost. Simon originated the East Coast Offense and both Homicide and The Wire run it. It's an explosive, hard-hitting offense that racks up a lot of points and it's also becoming one of the most popular in the game today. Treme has announced plans to implement the East Coast Offense and they should be a lot of fun to watch, especially since they'll have Simon there to put it in place. We'll go back to the game now, but remember, for a healthy, nutritious and tasty meal, grab yourself some Turducken.

Just a quick note and bump.
We'll continue Sunday night. Cold should be gone by then and I need to use the weekend to get caught up on stuff I'm way behind on.
