The FOOL Classic is set!

Boston vs New York for the third time in FOOL Classic history. Both teams are 1-1 in the previous matchups.

New York returns to the FOOL Classic for the first time since 2052. They are in search of their 7th FOOL title in franchise history, but the first one in 31 seasons!

Boston returns for the first time since 2037, but have not won it all since 2027, 34 seasons ago! The Settlers, one of FOOL's original teams from 1961, have only 2 titles in the 100 year history of the franchise.

I always figured it was greg, but once you took over for him and it kept going, I just sorta shrugged my shoulders.

New York sends up only 3 batters in the top of the 9th and are unable to score. In the bottom of the 9th, Boston gets a lead off double from Ward, followed by a Single from Chavez that brings home the winning run!

Boston wins the FOOL Classic for the third time!

Boston 7, New York 6

Congrats Eddie, that was one hell of a series. Back and forth the whole way. If we weren't scoring 10 runs a game, we weren't gonna win. We just don't have the pitching.

What a way to end the series though. Congrats again!
