Police Investigating Reports That Someone Jumped Off Mellon Building - News Story - WPXI Pittsburgh

Quote:
PITTSBURGH -- Police are investigating reports that someone jumped off the Mellon building in Pittsburgh Monday.

While Channel 11 usually doesn't cover suicides, this is being reported because of the scene it has created downtown and if someone did jump, someone on the ground could have been hurt.

City detectives are at the scene.

That is the bldg I work in.

I caught the trolley underneath that area about 15 mins before.

Creepy

They didn't jump. Arnold Palmer threw them out.

About 15 years ago I saw a guy jump off of the Disneyland hotel. It was not a pretty sight.

We don't cover suicides, just the carnage they cause once they hit the ground.

It's the US Fidelis of reporters!
