Questions...

1. I assume you can't expand the screen size?
2. Tournament names, NCAA, NIT, 3BI and 4IT - are the last two accurate?
3. Earliest players turn pro - is Freshman the same in RL?
4. Conference movement, difference between limited and full - do most play with these?
5. Conference prestige changes - do most use "yes"?
6. Transfers - must redshirt the same as RL?

hey, I won't be grudge you your point. If he could of added face gen as an option I not against it. I would of preferred to see somekind of court visual action like in FM which to be honest I do think is a great game especially the on the pitch action. That is the only thing that killed my longterm interest in the first FBCB I do get sort of bored just reading the text and I could never enjoy just simming a season just to get to the recruiting part. Then the game becomes alot more like TCY to me a recruiting sim.

The Tournament is the CBI and CIT. That alone for me is worth getting it. I am nlt sure about the rest of the questions sorry.

The last two are called CBI and Collegeinsider.com

Freshman is how it works right now. I normally keep conference movement off. It just depends how much you like seeing schools change conferences.

I also keep my conference prestige change as off, just because I like knowing what the major conference are at all times. Transfers must redshirt in real life, yes.

Can't figure out a way to get rid of the North/South divisions in the Big 12 standings, without messing up the scheduling. Could do it in the last version, hmm...maybe I'm missing it.

EDIT-Probably has something to do with this new 'travel partner' thing. Don't want to ask too many questions, considering I didn't want to wait for the manual, ha.

I'll have to fix that. I hadn't noticed that it changed back. It should be a display issue only though.

Editing conferences is kind of goofed up, I think. Moving a team from Independent to the Great West puts the team into the Horizon.

And moving a team from the Great West to the Independent puts them in the Ivy.

Curiously, it worked perfect in the demo.

Adding a...transfer bar, or something would be really sweet. To separate the stats after a transfer, so you could tell very quickly if a player transferred or not.

I'm having issues getting the license as well. Not sure if it is a virus protection thing, a Windows Vista issue, or just a server issue.

@ HR : seeing some very strange things in simulated games (i.e. all games but your own) , starters playing 12-15 minutes only basically and subs playing the majority of minutes in all games.

Will test if that holds true when changing the season or when starting a new game, this one if continued from FBCB1 and then the demo.

Yay for expanded preseason tournaments! Love that new lengthy list complete with prestige of the individual tournaments. Anybody got a complete list of the actual names of these tournaments? I know some of them, the obvious ones i.e. Maui Shootout = Maui Invitational, etc.

Could you tell me the region settings you are using? When you say all games but your own, does that mean all but games you are watching? It shouldn't matter since they use the same engine but you never know.

pc-region ? German pc, but switched to english (us) for date/time etc as well as "system-area-scheme"

Doesn´t happen when i coach or watch games (me and cpu oponent), but is happening on all simmed games (not just my team), my team involved or not.
Stat leaders show that pattern as well, with bench players taking up the first spots (so not just a display issue).

hmm, actually it does happen with coached games and watched games as well now. All players go to "tired" within 1 minute.

Think i found the reason : I changed the values for foreign recruits in the FBCB.ini to experiment with that a bit (only changed the foreign talent reduction value), saved the original as backup and put the edited one in the FBCB folder.
Now that i put the original file in there it works fine again.

Sorry for the panic-mode ... (propably still needs fixing though, eventhough not a huge deal for now)

Assists seem low. The highest I've been able to get for a league leader in 15 some seasons ran is 5.5.

Distribution of which players are leaving for the draft probably still needs work. The stamina issue occurred because when you changed to the other file it wasn't found by the game. If it was actually named FBCB.txt that would explain it as it needs to be FBCB.ini. Do you have file extensions enabled?

What about it isn't working? If the screen is too big or the background images are off you have to turn your text size down to 96 dpi or 100%. I'm going to include images for the next size up but I need to change the file sizes of all the image files. I wasn't going to do that until I was done making changes to the normal size images.

If the demo didn't do this then it has to be something with the elicense. The first obvious thing is make sure you're running as administrator. The next thing to try is this:


You may need to adjust your Data Execution Prevention settings. Here is how:

1. Right-click on "My Computer"
2. Select "Properties"
3. Click on the "Advanced" Tab.
4. Click on the Performance "Settings" Button
5. Click on the "Data Execution Prevention" Tab
6. Verify that "Turn on DEP for essential Windows programs and services only" is selected. If it is not, select that option and click "APPLY" and then try and run the game.

Note: Even if you see that option checked already, go ahead and uncheck and then recheck it to ensure that its activated!

7. If the problem persists, go back and select the other option "turn on DEP for all windows programs and services EXCEPT those I select" and ADD the following files:

"runservice.exe" That file will be found in C:\Windows.

9. Click APPLY then Reboot and then relaunch the game.
