New York returns to the FOOL-X classic for the second straight year and third time in the last four seasons. They have come up empty in their last two appearances to the classic however, their last FOOL-X title coming 6 seasons ago.

Chicago however returns to the FOOL-X classic for the first time since their move from London, Ontario. What was once the winning-est franchise in FOOL-X history, Chicago looks to once again step on top as the first franchise with 6 titles.

New York met London twice in the Classic in past years, both resulting in losses (1968 and 1980). A New York Legends win here would set them on top of FOOL-X in a different right as they would then join three other franchises (Chicago included) with 5 FOOL-X titles!

This season was full of surprises, both good and bad.

Entering the season I knew my team was young and I was really only hoping for some positive development from the players just promoted to the big league club.

Hell of a season from a bunch of upstart kids. In the end, our youth and inexperience bit us in the ass and we were outplayed by a better team.

A playoff ticket wasn't even on my radar this year, so to make the playoffs, win the league championship and jump to a 3 game lead in the Classic was a pleasant turn of events. Hey, at least it was a good Classic, even if we came up short.

Congrats New York.

FYI, I updated the images file on the FOOL webpage. It is pretty large but includes most all of the player photos, team images, etc for the history of the league. If you are missing some, feel free to download it and extract it.
