Family Guy...
Stewie: So, Jillian, I really like this place. One bedroom, one bath?
Dumb blonde Jillian: No, it's a whole apartment. I love Family Guy.

Is this satire or some post-modernistic commentary? Because, on the surface, this couldn't be a more inaccurate statement. |

funny, watched that episode last night and had one of those real life moments when Brian is going to break up with her, then she starts drying her hair and he reconsiders... been there.

Nah, he's the most outrageous one on the show. That would make him Stewie over Brian.
Brian's kind of more like the fish. |

I always thought there were more things in common with Brian. Both have a drinking problem and both are long time friends of the father of the household. I do see some similarities with Stewie though (unknown sexual preference). |

Brian/Fish are the pets that are in love with the mom. Roger/Stewie are the outrageous ones of questionable sexuality. Roger/Stewie are also much larger, more pivotal characters than Brian/Klaus(sp?)

I can't put my mouse on it right now, but I recently saw a chart someone had created that showed how similar all 3 of MacFarlane's shows are. It basically had the 3 shows, each general type of character, and which character from each show fit the type. It pretty much showed that he's made 3 shows out of 1 premise/set of characters.
Family Guy is the only one that interests me. The other two suck, IMO.

Since the new ones, they haven't been par. I don't just know what it is. Seems like the old ones have a better plot/story that flows better. I sometimes feel like the writers are just throwing whatever into the shows and overload on the jokes/cutbacks/ect/ |

I actually like the Cleveland show the most of the three lately, never could have imagined I would say that.

Just went on hulu to watch the "The Empire Strikes Back" episode, these are always a joy to watch. No one spoofs Star Wars better than Family Guy.

Yeah I thought about them as soon as I hit the reply button. Oh well, they both do a fantastic job.
