But, again, this was Kobe's award to lose.

Finals MVP is like the Hiseman. It is an award for the best QB or RB among the handful of title contending teams. Another player has to play significantly better than those folks in order to win the award. Which, again, is fine b/c we all know what it is.

This isn't Kobe hating. Any star would have gotten the same advantage in the MVP voting.
