iphone/(watch stuff on tv) question.....
i have an iphone with some videos on it i'd like to watch on tv.
i purchased a connector. one end plugs into the headphone jack, and then there is a yellow (video), red and white cable (audio) that plugs into my tv.... i switch the input on my tv, to "video 2" and can hear my video playing through the televison.....but the video is still displayed on my iphone, (and not the tv) has anyone encountered this problem? any suggestions would be great, thanks.... |

Yeah, you can't play video through the audio out jack. If you have a 3GS you'll probably need the Apple video out cable- which connects to to the charging port and uses component video connections (and costs $50). I am able to play videos and movies using a jailbroken app- not sure if you can play movies taken with the phone otherwise this way- but I would think you could. |
