Any interest in some Doom deathmatch?
I downloaded this program called Legacy Doom the other day. You have to have Doom or Doom2's wad file and move it to the LD directory to play, but it allows a lot more options, higher resolution, jumping, etc, but its otherwise the same good old doom game.
Flood of nostalgia. I played this game sooooo much in college. Literally for days on end, no sleep. Internet play appears to be built right into the game, so if anyone is interested in giving it a try, let me know. I'd be seriously down for it. |

Is it really still Doom if you can jump?
Man, those maps are predicated on the fact that you can not jump!! |

The jumping is really gimped so it doesn't really matter. You can also set it so you can't jump if it bothers you.
