- A new financial backer has stepped in and put in $500 K into the ECW coffers. This money has been set forth to help ECW start a new business model, in which for the time being they will offer week PPV's that will be available in every US Market.

In an awful match that was completely devoid of heat, Mike Quackenbush won a battle royal in 14:58. The final four competitors also included Homicide, Excalibur and Christopher Daniels, with Homicide being the final elimination (E)

New ECW signee Kurt Angle comes out to the ring to kick off the PPV. He says he is an Olympic Gold Medalist and the best new face to hit the wrestling industry since Lou Thesz. He says he will prove it tonight and every subsequent night he steps foot in an ECW ring because he is the future! (C-)

In a bout that had a good crowd and good action, Kurt Angle defeated Mike Awesome in 11:42 by submission with an Ankle Lock (D)

Backstage Christian Cage and Stevie Richards are together. Cage says despite winning last weeks four corner match, he came away impressed with Richards. He says the two of them want to take ECW by storm and together they will do just that (D)

In a bout that had great heat and good action, Rob Van Dam defeated Terry Funk in 20:11 by pinfall with a Frog Splash. During the match we also had Bubba Ray Dudley run in and attack Terry. Rob Van Dam wins the ECW World Television title (C-) After the match an irate Terry Funk says the reason he and Sabu have mutual respect is because they have literally tried killing one another in the ring but neither man gave an inch. In every one of there wars, blood was spilled, and most often it was because of barbed wire. Funk says it is with that that their choice of stipulation for the PPV is that any match will take place in a ring surrounded by barbed wire! (C-)

In a match that had some good action and average heat, Matt Hardy defeated Lance Storm in 11:37 by pinfall with a quick roll up (D+)

Rob Van Dam won a Six Man Ladder Match to retain the ECW Television Title, beating Bam Bam Bigelow, Chris Candido, Mikey Whipwreck, Spike Dudley and Doug Furnas (C-)

After the match RVD gets on the mic and says it is against his nature to sit ideally by, but that has been exactly what RVD has done lately. RVD says that ECW hasn't seen how good he truly is, and from here on out they will know how exactly why he is "The Whole Fucking Show"! (C-)

Kurt Angle comes out to the ring demanding a challenger. After a few minutes with no one coming out he begins goading the boys in the back until finally a still injured Steve Williams comes out to accept the challenge (D+)

Kurt Angle defeated Steve Williams with an Ankle Lock (D+)

We see Tommy Dreamer backstage looking for a partner tonight, and he finds Ballz Mahoney who agrees to face Christian and Richards (D-)

Stevie Richards and Christian Cage beat Tommy Dreamer and Ballz Mahoney when Richards pinned Mahoney after a Stevie Kick (D-)

A video airs hyping the Hardy's as they attempt to win the ECW Tag Team Titles (D)

Adam Copeland & Lance Storm defeated the Hardy's after Copeland gave Jeff Hardy a Leaping DDT onto the concrete, knocking him out and rendering him unable to finish the match (C)

A hype video airs for the co-main event war between the Dudleys & Funk and Sabu (C-)

The Dudley Boys defeated Terry Funk and Sabu after a 3D through a barbed wire covered flaming table (C+) After the match a visibly shaken Tommy Dreamer hit the ring to help an unconscious Funk be carted out (D)

A video airs hyping Taz's journey to the Main Event tonight as he fights for the ECW World Title vs Shane Douglas (C-)

Taz deafted Shane Douglas after making him tap to a Tazmission (C+) Taz wins the ECW World Heavyweight Title

I am gonna quickly burn through the last four events of this year and move the Holiday Hell show to the first week of January. Mainly because I want to start the new year fresh.
