RIP: Laurent Fignon
The former Tour de France winner passed away today. He is probably best known in the US for losing the 1989 Tour de France by 8 seconds to Greg LeMond.

He was commenting the Tour on TV for a couple of years. Even this year where they accodomate his planning so he could take his treatment and get some rest.
For those not knowing, he had a cancer. Not saying this is linked to his taking doping products (a fact, he admitted it), but still. Something to read too (in french) |
