I'm taking Texas -20.5 over Iowa State. I was at the 52-0 OU blowout and I don't see any reason why the Longhorns can't at least put 35 points on the 'Clones.

I'm starting to think some Oklahoma friends might be worried about Mizzou.

Maybe they're just worried about their own team's ability to play down to its opposition.

I know if I bet on LSU getting 6 points vs. Auburn Les Miles would call a pass down 2 with 10 seconds left and Auburn would return it for a TD and the cover, so I'll go with Notre Dame -6.5 vs. Navy. (Plus I'll enjoy the former game regardless... I might need a reason to stay interested in the ND game.)

I'd say I'm anxious. And very curious to see how it plays out.

Historically OU has owned Missouri, but I've thought all along that the Sooners were going to stumble at least once this season on the road (Cincinnati, Mizzou, A&M or Okie State). I'm not sure if people realize how young this team is. I haven't seen a lot of Mizzou this year, but they seem to be playing really well, particularly on defense, and you just never know what you're going to get from OU on the road.

Edit: Bishop's comment is actually a reason for some of my optimism. The Gameday atmosphere and Missouri being undefeated plays to OU's advantage, I think, because they've shown that when they are motivated and inspired, they do very well.

Didn't seem like OU had much interest in playing defense yesterday.

There are some ugly picks in that mix. I'm pissed I didn't go all in on Louisville and just made my usual bet on them.

OK, but why can't I post a change? Was this something in the original rules? I certainly had the pick in prior to either game being played (both NFL).

The premise of the game is that you are so confident in the selection that you are "locking" it. Once you pick, you are "locked" into the pick with that line.

Fair enough. Can I at least have the actual line of +3 instead of the -3 I typed.

I'm going to go out on a limb and suggest that the line didn't move 6 points between me picking the game and Radii doing same a day later.

So I'm watching the Falcons score. At halftime, I'm thinking "made a solid pick this week"

Early in the fourth I'm thinking "you have to be kidding me, seriously?"

Late in the fourth, "whew"

I really wanted to pick a college game this week. The closest I came was to picking Nebraska over OKState or Notre Dame over Navy. But I didn't have a good feel at all for them, so I went to the NFL.

Overall, a tough week for the "lock of the week" crowd.

I was close to a push until Iowa's defense folded late.

I was close to a respectably close loss until Notre Dame's defense folded from the beginning.

I've been extremely busy the past few days and haven't had time to update the standings. Please posts your picks in this thread and I will post them in the new one tomorrow evening!
