Just trying to figure out when I need to change gears with picks away from "try to pick a win" to "try to pick a win that could potentially generate the biggest margin".

I was originally thinking to the Super Bowl, but I'm leaning toward the end of the NFL regular season because of bigger variety. I would be open to doing a playoff for the top 4 teams similar to NASCAR where everyone can participate, but the final four would be eligible to win the competition. I'm open to suggestions.

I wonder why Caesars-Hilton only has a couple of lines posted for NCAA this weekend?

Yeah, that sucks. Can we use another one this week (unless you think they will pick it up today before the first game this evening)?

I was hoping they would post their lines soon. Let's use the MGM-Mirage lines this week.

I think I would prefer that all games count, rather than the "playoff" format that you had listed as possibility above. End of NFL regular season is fine by me.

Are college basketball games an option for this contest as well, or is it football only?

I think there is a hint in the thread title.

Football is much easier than basketball because of the setup (1 game a week mostly on Saturdays and Sundays). I think it would be too difficult to police if I had to keep track of basketball lines (2-3 games a week on multiple days).

Actually, it's supposed to be an hour before kickoff...but I'll let it slide...this time.
