3rd pick again Wooooooooooooo! So Alan is there still an overabundance of talent in the draft like when I left or has that slimmed down some since?

Well I do remember something last year about the draft pool talent being increased. I THINK that was in this league. I'm not in any others. Unless I was dreaming.

The talent pool was increased a while ago in this league. My arguement at the time though was doing so would only change things for about one or two generations and then the level of relative talent would be back to the way it was before. I think we've reached that point now

There is definitely talent in the draft, but it varies from year to year how deep it goes. Some years there are quality major league players available well past the 1st round into the supplemental picks. Other years, I'm not too fond of anyone beyond pick 8.

Playoffs! And I have a fairly strong staff. Hopefully I can knock off my arch nemesis Harpooners! Of course then I'll have to deal with my other nemesis(s?i?) Napa Valley or Baltimore. Good luck everyone!

I don't think I'll get the chance to have that fight...but I'd be happy to be your nemesis!

Sorry MIke. At least you are on the right track. I can honestly say after looking at the stats, this is the worst team I have ever fielded in Edge/Winter Wolves history! Not a single starter reached double digits in wins. And my hitters....all but two of my starting batters hit under .250.

Well, didn't make it to the dance, but considering I didn't export from Thursday up until last night for this sim, I'll count it as a somewhat successful season.

Good luck to the playoff teams this year. Man, Tasan, hyde, ekcut and Teach! Now that's a throwback to the days FOOL yore.
