Here is a quick recap of the first season (2010/2011):

The old willy veterans take over the league as San Antonio and Boston take the number one seed in their respective divisions. Despite LeBron (who won the MVP) and Kobe putting up monster numbers the Heat and Lakers settle for the three seed in their respective divisions. The Knicks took the East by storm with Melo and Amare taking the second seed. Here is how the rest of the playoff seeding took place.

West: 1. Spurs 2. Mavericks 3. Lakers 4. Blazers 5. Nuggets 6. Suns 7. Rockets 8. Jazz
East: 1. Celtics 2. Knicks 3. Heat 4. Bulls 5. Magic 6. Hawks 7. Nets 8. 76ers

West First Round:
The Spurs beat the Jazz in five games.
Dallas swept the Rockets.
The Lakers defeated the Suns in five games.
Portland completed the first round in the west by beating the Nuggets in five games.

East First Round:
Boston beat Philly in five games to advance to the next round.
New York gets taken to six games before they defeat the Nets.
The Heat also go six games before beating the Hawks.
The Bulls and Magic go seven games before the Bulls win the series.

West Second Round:
Portland upsets the Spurs in just five games pulling the shocker of the post season.
The Lakers also pull off an "upset" by sweeping the Mavs.

East Second Round:
Boston handles their business against the Bulls sweeping them to advance.
Miami shows who has the better superstars defeating the Knicks in six games.

Western Conference Finals:
The Lakers beat the Blazers in five games to advance to their fourth straight finals.

Eastern Conference Finals:
The Heat defeat Boston in six games to handle the hype of the season.

Finals:
The Lakers beat the Heat in five games with Kobe winning the MVP and tying Jordan with six NBA titles.

NBA Draft

With the first pick in the NBA draft the Cleveland Cavaliers select Buster Stallworth. They are hoping he can replace LeBron James as the face of Cleveland and lead them to winning basketball again.

With the second pick the Raptors select Frank Justice. Like Cleveland they are hoping Justice can be the answer to their loss of Bosh to the Heat.

Minnesota select Kuji Chagulia with the third pick to play in the front court and hold down the paint with Kevin Love.

The Bobcats select Sasha Kastos who projects to be their starting PG from day one.

Jace Hunter is selected next by the Pistons who have a pretty full back court currently.

Nick Wadden is picked by the Wizards with sixth overall pick and gets to partner up with last years rookie of the year John Wall.
