Squaretrade Extended Warranties
Has anyone here ever purchased an extended warranty through Squaretrade? I've heard nothing but good things about their service but wanted to see if any FOFCers have ever used the site to cover their electronics.

I got a ST warranty when I bought a refurb Xbox through ebay. Not surprisingly, it died...I guess the surprising part was that it lasted nearly the entire term of the warranty, but still died off in time for me to collect.
My experience with ST was overwhelmingly positive and convenient. I expected to get some sort of hassle with a warranty claim, but I was able to submit it online within minutes, and it was approved nearly instantly pending shipment and diagnosis. They sent me a correctly sized empty box to ship it in, with packing foam, and an addressed pre-paid shipping label. I stuck my broken xbox in there, and dropped it off at a UPS store. I could track the status of the warranty online, and a week or two later it was approved, and a day after that I had the full purchase price in my paypal account. I never even talked to a person, or emailed anybody directly....just filled in some forms on a webpage. I was pretty impressed. ...that said. My buddy bought a ST warranty for a refurb xbox he bought on ebay (sound familiar) and they initially turned down his claim and said they didn't cover refurbed xboxes anymore. After some complaining and talking his way up the ladder he eventually got compensated, and told it was the work of a rogue ST agent (seriously). Go figure.
