I didn't actually ever realize it caused an issue. It's just an organizational thing to me. I send down the guys who aren't resigning with me the following year so I can see what I have left to work with. Huh.

Yeah, that owner I don't think is going to be sticking with things here. I think the pace was a bit too quick for him. I have a waiting list that I'll go to the next person and see if they are still interested. So it is the AI running that team right now. They tend to do more in free agency and less with homegrown talent.

I am pretty happy with this team though. It does have a lot of young guys. I could use a true ace but other then that I think my team has a shot to do well this year. Ive got a couple of young pitchers that hopefully will turn out and do well for me. One I left in AAA for one more season so maybe he will do well. He is the one I like the most but I didnt want him to get shelled in the majors so maybe doing well in AAA will help him progress with confidence. Who knows though......some of my young pitchers dont progress until they leave me HAHA.

Oh and BTW Alan, I love this pace. It is intense at times but it really keeps me involved. I joined a slow league and I do like it as well but man its a lot more tedious haha.

I am hoping for some good improvement from the Hooligans this season.

While we're certainly a far cry from the Caro-Medina teams of a decade ago, we should be much better than the 3rd worst team in the league last year.

We fell asleep too soon Monday night and didn't get an export in for the first free agent round, otherwise I would be even more bullish (we had a ton of money to spend).

In today's free agency sim, we added as many as four position starters, maybe more, and then pretty much super-injected our pen with three top notch arms.

If the rotation can rmre to their talent, the pen won't lose too many games for them. And the new additions will really help buffer the lineup, even if none of the additions are out and out stars. I think we can get back to .500 with this group.
