I'm wondering if the overall level of talent in the league has increased thanks to the increased pitching development speed that was put in a while back.

Even though I haven't seen it effect control much in the sense that roughly the same percentage of pitchers still never fully develop control, it does mean pitchers are hitting their peak sooner, and there are simply more good pitchers out there now.

There are a large number of teams that have what would have been at least a B rating pitching staff, if not A or A+ staffs. Especially relief pitchers.. more than half of the league have A or A+ relief pitchers (or closers since there is not great distinction between closers and relief pitchers in the game engine).

Maybe I need to re-evaluate my grading chart and raise up the requirements of what I'm willing to call an A or A+ pitching staff now.
