I tried it last night!

For about 20 minutes I remembered what it was like to smoke weed when I was 15 years old.

Well, the most intense part of it. It's not like it completely wore off. Not sure how long it lasted as I ended up going to bed.

By the end of my 3g, it didn't do a whole lot for me anymore. Probably won't be getting anymore.

Just because I remembered this thread, I'll mention that K2 is now illegal in Georgia after a bi-partisan bill was signed by the governor today. The bill had passed the state house 148-2 and the state senate 48-0.

Missouri passed that law also. But it didnt get enough votes to make it immediate. The law goes into effect August 28th.

Update on the synthetic stuff.

The laws passed mean nothing. The makers change the ingredients. So the 4 chemicals or however many are banned, the makers just go around it.

I can still get it at the head shop. Cloud9 manufactures it. The stuff they are putting out now is powerful. 1 hit and your are very buzzed. 2 hits and you are stumbling around. 3 hits and you start to hallucinate. 4 hits and you are comatose.

We also had the bath salts. These were similar to coke and/or ecstasy. Several people have died and several have gone insane. I havent and wont try those.

The bath salts sound fucked. No.fucking.way would I snort any of that. Though I'm not opposed to those that want to. Some of these new chemicals they brew up could very well have unknown or undesirable side affects either short and long term. Traditional illicit drugs have had millions of users over the course of time and the side effects are pretty well known.

Seems like heroin is the new big thing in my neck of the woods. It's pretty common for people to pass out driving on heroin around Madison. We were cleaning out a former employee's house when we found a stash of needles which sure weren't cow sized needles that we use on the farm. He had had knee surgery the year before and that probably started him on the opiate track. Not sure if he was using heroin or cooking up some of the legal heroin that doctors these days are so quick to prescribe.

I don't think all the laws that were passed mean nothing. Looks like it depends on the wording in each state's bills.

My favorite part: Currently none of our products have ANY of these synthetic compounds in them.

These guys are chemical engineers. I dont think they are like your run-of-the-mill Meth maker.

Heroin is a big problem in our area as well. The county I live in used to be the Meth capital of the world. We were featured on 20-20 years ago. Now the police tell me Heroin is surpassing Meth in our area. Last summer the police found a body in her car with the needle still stuck in her arm, dead. Herion is scary stuff.
