edit: I was unsuccessful in working out a deal as the pieces just weren't there for a simple deal, and I hate dealing before a sim, as I feel I lose control of my lineups having to do it via email so I don't want to get into complex negotiations.

The player I wanted was CF Stan Kerfoot.
He has amazing OBP potential, and being a lefty, I bet he will win a battling title or two in his career.
He also has great gap power! My stadium is a haven for doubles and triples hitters!
Add on top of that his 11/10/10 running ratings, he could threaten the 100 SB mark. That is alot of 'table setting" ability...he has the mad skillz to get himself into scoring position 150times a season...that is an amazing number.
He is not the best overall player in the draft by far, as he doesn't have the HR power as others do...but he is a great "team guy" that can really pad the RBI stats of the big hitters behind him in the order.
He would fill a hole I have had on my team for some time now!
