Hell of a PAC-16/SEC matchup with Oklahoma State and Texas A&M.

FSU is in serious trouble for the Clemson game. Possibly no EJ Manuel, and even if he plays he won't be running, and also down 4 of our top 5 WRs. Great.

ND will be fine if the TOs are in check. To me that's the only question for pretty much any of their games for the rest of the year.

Washington's offense has looked pretty good; the defense - yeah, not so much. I like that we're at home for this one since Cal has had some road issues of late, but strictly on paper the Bears would seem to have the upper hand. Should be a good game, and I'll feel a lot better about our bowl hopes this year if we can win this one.

Unless Luck gets injured, Stanford will be at best a toss-up. The rest (even USC) I do agree come down to ND not beating itself.

Yeah, Luck is a good enough QB to give that secondary fits, but at least it should be a decent game.

Steve Spurrier says South Carolina Gamecocks not in serious trouble with NCAA - ESPN

South Carolina gets its letter from the NCAA. Spurrier downplays it.

Wonder which BYU team shows tonight...if it's the one that rolled over and died against Utah last week....I might be a very drunk man tonight.

We get James Rodgers back, so maybe OSU has a shot. Of course it will be a RS Freshman making his first start throwing it to him. The UCLA secondary has been pretty bad so far though haven't they?

Wohoo! First Kickoff Return for a TD since 1998...

And it also looks like UCG QB Godfrey hurt his arm..

Nice stop for our D...now we need to step up and move the offense down the field.

Heaps has his chance to change perception right now....

TD BYU!

Their PR muffed a punt on their 20 which he had no business trying to get.

3 straight runs to punch it in and take the lead 24-17

Game Over 24 - 17

BYU takes it with a big stand by our defense and some amazing plays by Special Teams.

Our offense still isn't there, I don't know if Heaps keeps the starting spot after this week.

And now FSU might be missing Datko today on top of EJ and 4 wide receivers. They're not going to break 100 yards of offense.

GT finally takes a 10-7 lead over UNC, 59 yd pass Washington-to-Hill mid Q2
UGA making short work of Ole Miss, 10-0 late Q1

edit to add: Ole Miss had a nice opening drive to about the 35 but stalled out. Since then, 2x 3&outs for negative 10 yards
Meanwhile GT's defense has stiffened since giving up an early drive ... but Tevin just threw a pick & UNC is across midfield after the return

GT answers with a pick of their own. Deeeep drop wasn't enough to keep the pressure of the QB, he throws into quadruple coverage & a tipped ball is picked off.

Looks like the Michigan coaching staff finally caved to starting to run a Robinson based offense. 5-8 for 35 yards. 11 for 139 yards and 3 TDs. Michigan is up 21-0 with 207 in yards rushing just before the half.

Lots of mistakes for Ga Tech but a 17-7 lead at the half with the ball to start the second half looks pretty solid. The defense has done really well after that first drive.

Turned down tickets to UNC-GT and it looks like a good game. Grrr. Must make sure to score Clemson-GT tickets.

Boy did the GT defense look bad, lost, and confused on that drive. Lead cut to 20-14 & the missed opportunities by the offense (2 FG's instead of TD's, a missed FG) start to look a lot bigger.

Michigan gets a 30 yard run from it's 37, fumbles, recovers at it's own 7, drives down again to set up a FG, and still misses. The game has been rather sloppy in the 2nd half.

EDIT: I think SDSU turned it over in there and that's how it got to the 7. It's what I get for trying to get caught up via Game Cast. Another Michigan TO though.

Fucking GT defense turned back into the fucking GT defense. Tied at 28 with 7:22 left in regulation.

Michigan over 300 yards rushing. Robinson could break 200 himself. Michigan up 28-7. SDSU really not doing much considering the 4 Michigan TOs. Minnesota and @Northwestern is up next before traveling to MSU.

Disappointed to see ND down 12-7, but they were down -2 in TOs last I checked.

UGA now 1/4 on FGA. Still just 24-13 lead early Q4.

correction: middle Q4

Is Dave Wannsted still the coach in disguise in Pitt? Mega-shitty execution in the fourth quarter. ND very, very lucky to get out of there with a win and I still think they are the most overrated team in america.

A large part of coaching is recognizing the talent you have. Some of the playcalling on that last drive was inexcusable.

And yeah, Sunseri might be one of the dumbest QB's I've ever seen. But then why are you 3 and 5 step dropping him back on every single play when you have a screen game and an option run game that is working pretty well?
