Anyone have a Sprint/HTC EVO accessory hookup?

I'm so sick of buying junky battery chargers and car chargers for my HTC Evo that keep crapping out on me...but the Sprint stores charges WAY too much for these!

I had some friends back in Michigan who used to be able to get these for free all of the time, but that's no longer the case.

Someone spoil me haha

these are all the same now, microUSB is a new standard.

i have 2 of these, and they are really good.

Amazon.com: Motorola Vehicle Power Adapter micro-USB Rapid Rate Charger: Cell Phones & Accessories

Also you can just buy a micro usb cord, and then get a generic usb car charger.

Thanks Steve.

Are these rapid charge ones bad for the longevity of a battery's life?

I use the Radio Shack car charger that comes with interchangeable tips. Forgot the product line, but whenever my phone has a new connector, I buy a new tip and charge away. Was the best solution for me when I bought it a few years ago when traveling.

The problem for me has been quality. The cheap ones I bought off eBay don't keep a connection after a few months.

The battery charger holds the battery slightly too loose and it doesn't charge the battery because of it.

I need a reliable car charger (thanks Steve) and an equivalent battery holster.

Yep, that's it. Couldn't think of it. My wife and I both have one.

I need to see if they have a tip for the Galaxy Tab since they went away from the microUSB for some reason.

If you plan on using your phone in the car while it's plugged in, you will go through chargers. They all develop stress points and eventually the wiring goes bad. It's just one of those things. Also the Galaxy tab has a different tip because it requires more charge power than a traditional phone. It would take forever to charge in a car.

Dola-

This whole area of connectors is a great example of common sense mandates. Effective next year, all phones will charge via micro USB or have an adapter to charge that way(iPhone). This is a great way to save tons and tons of ewaste. Plus dickish companies can't gouge on special phone port connectors now(apple excluded).

edit: Hope everyone realizes this was said as a joke, and I wasn't intending to try to pin any sort of political affiliation or viewpoint onto anybody.
