So how about these kids knocking shit over in stores for fun?

I know it filled me with enough rage to start a thread here.. People need to start being parents and making their kids fear them, or at the very least respect them enough not to do this:

I've never wondered before whether there was such thing as justifiable assault.

So there's videos now of a&#hole kids. I think we all knew plenty of A&@hole kids when we were kids too. They were just less likely to get in trouble, since they didn't take videos of themselves.

I don't know.. I never even thought about doing something this asinine. Any retarded shit we did as kids was only going to hurt us if it hurt anyone, and it damn sure wasn't going to include criminal activity. My parents thankfully taught me to respect the fact that there would be consequences for my actions.

The only thing that would have made that video better would have been an overlay of that annoying "I want to be a millionaire" song.

I would totally love to have one of these fuckers skateboard by me so I could clothesline them..........Of course doing so would get me sued by their delusional "My kid could not possibly be at fault" parents and ruin my life.

The beautiful part of all this is the more they share it with others, the more people they have to keep happy (so they don't decide to tell the cops)...and I just don't think that'll be possible in the long run.

Anyone else find it a little odd that the article edited fuckin up supermarkets in the story, but left it unedited in the youtube link and FB capture. I imagine this is not a mainstream publication, but still amusing.

One of the kids has been picked up by the police, and as usual in these cases, punk teens don't exactly keep their mouths shut, so expect the rest of the gang to be rounded up quick.

Not sure if this happens mroe now or not. I remember as a kid there were some high school kids who got drunk and went around smashing mailboxes and vandalizing things. They broke into a guys garage in the middle of the night and the guy came out. He was an ex-marine and beat the ever living shit out of one of the kids.

I remember it because the kids were on the local high school baseball team and the parents didn't want them to get kicked off. So they went with the kids to the home of each house they vandalized and made the kids apologize. And one of the kids had his jaw wired shut and was pretty fucked up.

edit: Kids do seem to be dumber though. "Lets post this under my name on the internet!".

They'll probably be required to do some kind of community service and then they'll try to somehow ruin whatever organization they're supposed to help with their hilarious antics.

I think the parts about the vandalism and the stupid kids hasn't changed much (they just had fewer outlets for their stupidity back then), but the part about not getting their ass kicked is relatively new.

And I'm not somebody who thinks kids generally need to be beat up to learn a lesson. But some kids....maybe they do.

They're not any dumber.

They have greater and more immediate outlets for their stupidity.

Instead of fucking up for the whole neighborhood or the whole town to see, they can fuck up for the whole world to see.

The fundamental lack of impulse control is the same. "Hey, guys, watch this!" Same as it ever was.

I didn't really, but sometimes as I'm driving along I can feel the draw to cracking some of those mailboxes with a bat. It seems like it would be fun.

A couple of punks kicked in the inflatable Santa on my front lawn last week. I heard an odd sound outside as I was getting my kids ready for bed and by the time I got to the front door to see what was going on I saw two teenagers running down the street. It took me a few minutes to realize what they had done to Santa and by that time they were gone. I was also home alone with the kids so running after them really wasn't an option.

At our old home, well out in the country, we went through a number of mail boxes. Then I talked to my father in-law, the welder and fabricator of many things metal. He shaped a 3/8" steel plate to fit the exact interior dimensions of our mail box.

It stood the test of time, and the exterior did receive a couple of small dents where someone attempted to get to it with a bat.

I just really hope they were driving by when they swung at it, cause MAN that would sting.

I always thought it would be cool if you could figure out a way to somehow rubberize your mailbox, so that a bat swing from a car would bounce back and potentially break the rear window.

I seem to remember a friend talking about how his dad, after enough of this, went to a concrete reinforced base for their mailbox

What I don't understand is why everyone is referring to these guys as kids. Seconds into the video I was wondering why a fucking 35 year old was riding a skateboard in a store.

A buddy of mine hit a fiberglass mailbox with a bat back in high school and it bounced back and split his head open.

I hope nothing happens to these kids for about 15 years. Then, all of a sudden, someone will go up to them and light them on fire. And laugh. Hard.

I might be completely serious.
