Kinect w/ Kinect Adventures, Fruit Ninja, and The Gunstringer. I've since added about 10 games for the Kinect.
Other random things. Still haven't done Christmas with my parents. Too much stuff for the kids. I couldn't even tell you what all they got. I just give my wife the money and she buys it. Got the wife an American Express giftcard. She's too picky, so she can just go out and buy what she wants. As a joint gift for all 3 kids I bought them DVD players for the headrests. Got my dad an authentic Ray Rice jersey and my mom a HDTV for the bedroom, even though she says she can't tell the difference in picture quality. |

This year, not really much of note. My wife and I built a new patio cover in our back yard that cost nearly 3k so we made that our gift to ourselves.
Other than that I did get a mandolin slicer, so that was pretty cool. And one of my brother in laws got me the expansion addon for Pandemic! |

Why would you want to slice mandolins?

Most of my Christmas got bundled in one big gift to my family from my sister, who got us an XBox Kinect system and then added Kinectimals and Kinect Disneyland (I have two daughters 8 and under, can't imagine why she chose those titles). Beyond that, I got some clothes and several books: 11/22/1963 by Stephen King, and then a trio of geography/history books to add to my ever-growing backlog of books that have been accumulating over the past few Christmases because I couldn't think of anything else to ask for.
As is typical, my girls made out like bandits, though for once, aside from a new bike for my older daughter, they were all pretty small presents (usually they'd get some big dollhouse or castle playset or something like that). Now that they're scattered all over creation in my house, I'm not sure this has been a positive development. |
