FOFC History: Who was TonyW?

I was going through my old emails and saw one that I wrote to TonyW back the Fall of 2000. Apparently he was really depressed about a mistake he made (Sideline?) and I tried to cheer him up. I think he was the/a moderator but does anyone remember what the circumstances were?

Wasn't that Tony Wyss? That timeframe sounds close to the whole Dave Dial fiasco.

Yes, that was Tony Wyss.

Fall of 2000 would've been about 4-6 months after everything went down, depending on when in the fall the email conversation took place.

Yeah, Tony Wyss.

Sort of reminds me that the #1 trending Tweet the other day was "Who is this old dude Paul McCartney?" after the Grammy's.

Yes, Tony Wyss, thanks. The date of the email looks to be about 2 weeks before the move.

I remember Tony lived out here in Irvine, and he and I were supposed to meet up for drinks someday if we could arrange it. We never got around to it. But he was always a good dude. Hope he's doing well.

He got married a couple years ago. Has a son, lives with his family near Atlanta. I'd say life is treating him well these days.

Completely agree with Bucc and 3ric there. Good to know that, Josh!

Why? Cuz it was Tony without the W? Or cuz the topic title should be "Who is Tony"?
