Unscientific polling - Are we headed for a recession in '08

Do you feel that we, the U.S. economy, will enter a period of recession in '08?

Yeah, this is a tough one. I can see it happening, but I am not so sure it will happen next year. So I voted no.

Definitely. Spending way too much on foreign intervention and domestic programs. Print more money and borrow from Chinese to pay for it all. Dollar crashing, Chinese losing confidence in the dollar, Democrats do nothing, Neo-cons want to spread the war.

Technically (economically speaking) a recession is just two quarters of negative economic growth. And it doesn't have to have a max of 1 year on it.

And I'd say we may be heading for one... but I dunno (you are missing that option).
