Guess the sandwich wasn't worth the hype, looks like he is back with no report.

*sigh* Yeah, I've putting off updating this out of sheer dissapointment. I didn't get the McRib. I rode down with a friend, and we went the wrong way down Sunset when we first got there, and he lost patience quickly. When we got to our friend's house, my repeated pleas fell on deaf ears.

The moral of the story: Take your own car. I don't know what the hell is going to happen with me and McRib at this point. It feels....hopeless...ARRGH

I say take your own car for a weekend roadtrip and get the McRib you so richly deserve!

I can Happily report that I, yes *I* have partaken of 3 mighty McRib Sandwiches just this past wednesday. They brought them back here in the Buffalo region for a short time and I wasted as little time as possible finding a local store to enjoy my favorite fast food sandwich.

Unfortunately there is one negative report as well, the store I went to watered down the suace so badly as to be non existant. I complained and they gave me 2 bucks back, I've also sent email to mcdonalds online in hopes of getting some sort of action to fix that problem.

McRib with weak sauce is simply NOT to be tolerated =)

I am so disappointed in you RFUS. I read this thread, waiting for the post where you described in detail your mcorgasm as you bit into the sandwich you'd been dreaming of...like a knight in shining mcarmor reunited with his beloved. But instead I read that you gave up, just walked away...and you call yourself a man?

Just FYI - I had not, until today, actually read this thread. However, I've seen the thread title many times when perusing the Dynasty section, which was apparently enough exposure to lead to me having a dream about seeing a billboard advertising a McRib sandwich. In my dream I had the immediate thought that I needed to get back to FOFC and let everybody know where to find the damned thing.

So now I'm having dreams about McRib sandwich advertisements. Despite never having read this thread.

And I've never even eaten one.

Thanks a lot.

LOL...Since I started this thread I think I've had at least 2 or 3 McRib related dreams. None of them involved eating it, but rather seeing a sign outside McDonald's.....so weird.

It was real, and it was spectacular! (Okay, I exaggerate, but yes, they're back. Scarfed one down for lunch today. W00t!)

Apparently they're dubbing this "Farewell Tour 3" or some such nonsense.

I saw a McSign that said the McRib is back, near my work in the Chicago suburbs. Those things have pork in them, right? Maybe I can get a cheeseburger with McRib sauce...

So, this wouldn't be a good time to mention I've had about a McRib a week over the past two months, then?

(Sorry. They never sold them in Michigan when I was living there, so I'm making up for lost time.)

What is this now? 3 reunion tours or whatever? Not one sniff of a McRib anywhere in the bay area. I'll vote for whichever presidential candidate gets the McRib to the greater San Francisco Bay Area.

You made me curious as i also remember eating it (and enjoying a lot, i love BBQ sauce) a few years ago but had totally forgotten.

A quick google.es search showed that there is a facebook group asking for TheMcRib to be brought back to MacDonald's in Spain too, also a few related threads in some forums, so you are not alone asking for it in USA

For what i have read, it was removed in Spain in 2007.

Still going on here. Dunno if it's still nationwide anymore, though. The McD's near my workplace has been collecting about $5 a week (sometimes more) from me over the last couple of months. It won't be a great day when I can't get it anymore, but my waistline and my wallet may appreciate the relief.
