Whats Your Favorite Pie?

Went to a craft fair with the wife this weekend. One of the booths was selling home made pies and breads. And they had my favorite pie. So I spent the $9 on the pie. I had a piece tonight. Microwaved with a scoop of vanilla ice cream on top. mmmmmmmm.

My favorite type of pie is Strawberry-Rhubarb. Whats yours and is there a particular way you eat it?

You know, The Rock's gonna tell you a little story.
You ain't gonna believe it, but he's gonna tell you anyway.
It's tough to be the Rock!
Oh no, no, shut your mouth! No, no, it really is.
Even though The Rock is...
The Rock is the most electrifying man in all of show biz!
You see, when the Rock gets too much...
Too much of the fame and all the bright lights...
He likes to kick back and have a slice of that unadulterated delight!

A chocolate pecan pie is absolutely amazing; though I had a walnut pie recently, which was pretty great as well.

My grandmother's homemade Pecan Pie. Now that she isn't with us anymore, I really can't enjoy pecan pie from any other source... just not as good, not worth it.

We have a family friend that makes a grasshopper pie for birthdays, I look forward to that as much as anything else on my birthday.

I am amazed the thread has gotten this far without the predictable response.

I really care not for pie. I prefer ice cream or cake.

If I have to choose I'll go with Coconut Creme.

And no lathum we're not going to say that, sicko

I'm guessing I'm going with Lathum's most predictable.

Pumpkin with a nice, as in big, dollop of whipped cream on it. It's so closely linked to the holidays and fall my favorite season, that it far surpasses any other pie for me.

Though grasshopper pie is good too.

Key Lime Pie. My fiancee has had one shipped to me from Joe's Stone Crab in Miami for the past two years. Amazing.

Add another to the Pecan list. Though Pumpkin with whipped cream is good, too.

Y'know, I've heard this rumor that some people actually eat the turkey at Thanksgiving. Me? I thought carving a bird was just the opening ceremony for pie eating.

Pumpkin for me too. My grandmother always made a home made one every Thanksgiving and it was always my favorite. I also go with a generous dollop of whipped cream on it.

Pumpkin is my favorite. I'll eat blueberry sometimes. Everything else is a waste of calories so I just pass.
