I know. I am used to at least a couple people posting every few days to try and start another game.

The first couple games I really went out and canvassed. when it got to the point that I couldn't even fill 9 slots while going out and bugging people, I stopped trying very hard.

I don't know. I thought maybe it was a summer thing, but then they didn't come back.

At its peak werewolf was pretty sweet. Sad to see it appears its time has come and gone. |

I think chances are with the slow rate of signups that somebody would forget about the game at this rate, and it would just fizzle out. If I can't get 9 people to signup within two days I feel like this will never work. Did everyone really get that tired of Werewolf?

Yeah it is kind of sad. At least I got to enjoy a few games of werewolf before it fizzled out so much. I know we have had slow times before and I know there was one right before I started playing but it is still lame.

The good news is, I am on the GM list and I have not prepared anything for my game since I have been so busy the last couple of months so I probably will never have to rush thinking some stuff up

Seriously, if you guys want people to play , come up with a game that people want to play. Pick a great theme popular and cool enough to get people excited. Timing is everything too. Use a game or TV show that's popular NOW. Make cool rules, cool characters and lay out the rules all nice and organizedlike so people know everything is prepared and going to be fun. Even better throw in games that AREN'T werewolf every now and then. COme up with other games. Cause just saying, "well we have to get going and make a new game so please please join" won't cut it.

Well, we did that CF, a whole bunch of times. People put together really cool big games, and couldn't get the signups. We're only now down to boring small games because we couldn't get enough people for those. People stopped putting up huge cool looking exciting games because it was a bunch of work for nothing. We had like three or four games that were offered and never started.
