Level 1 has been a success, as I more then doubled my stack to $24,225, 53rd in the standings. About 10% of the field has been eliminated (5756 of 6120 remaining)

I manage to win a couple of small pots, and build it up over $30,000, including a flop where a defended blind of A10, becomes a monster hand when AA4 flops..

Nut Flush beats the second Nut Flush and a third flush. Me, I just had a pocket pair that lost some chips when everyone checked to me, and I said "Ok, I'll take it" and promptly got beat into the pot by "RAISE! RAISE! RAISE!" The trap trapped the trapper who was then trapped by the BIG trapper.

What's that sound you hear? It's me on tilt. If this was a real B&M casino, I'd have to walk away for about 10 minutes, because a few times I play hands, and get bet off them. Then I play aggressively, and I'm second best. Then I get tight/weak and other players gladly help themselves to my chips. I've lost about half my stack from my hand point, and folded the best post flop hand twice according to the counter in the last FIVE hands.

Frustrating. But you gotta learn how to deal with Steam/Tilt, right?

Thoughts: There was some really loose playes there, I'm proud of how I played in a few hands, but I learned something today, that I'm not very good at dealing with steam , being on tilt and having it affect my play., Something to definitely watch out for.

After you take a couple bad beats in a row, just resolve to fold out of enough hands to give yourself a break, irrespective of the cards you're dealt. Even if you get rockets or something, your state of mind might lead you to play it badly, which can be worse than not playing it at all.
