IWS #202: The Bachelor Pad

The rules are the same as previous FOFC "I’m With Stupid" Contests, as set forth by the game’s widely revered and beloved founding fathers.

The object of this contest is to answer the questions posted, and to provide the most common answer among those submitted. For each question, your score will be equal to the number of people who submitted that response. Your score for the contest will be the product of your individual question scores. Yes, that word "product" means that they will be multiplied together, not added. Highest score wins.

Collaboration of any kind is strictly forbidden. No posting your answers to this board, nor sharing them by e-mail or in any other way with other potential contestants. Just don't be an asshat, and this should end well.

All determinations of "matches" and anything else requiring judgment fall to that of the sole administrator of this round of the game. You can reduce the need for doubt and judgment by properly spelling your submissions, being clear, and that sort of thing. The administrator's decisions are final and utterly inarguable, no exceptions.

Any references that are unclear to you, due to language or geography, should be understood to be authored from the perspective of an English-speaking American. However, your answers do not necessarily have to be correct in order to score points. If I ask "Which coach would you most like in charge of your favorite college football team?" and you answer "Nick Saban" along with 50 others, you each score 51 points, despite the fact that the correct answer is "Gary Pinkel”

The Questions

So sometime in the next two weeks panerd’s life will have another huge change. Little baby panerd is on the way! So looking back on the past 5 years of my life I have seen some major changes. Live in girlfriend, wife, and now child. I have also seen the house slowly evolve from the “place to be” on Super Bowl Sunday to a picture from a Bed, Bath, and Beyond advertisement. First my kitchen was repainted and refurnished, then the living and dining rooms got a makeover, next the office underwent major changes, then the third bedroom became the nursery, and now this week I have noticed my one refuge in the basement has become a baby equipment storage area. This IWS is an honor of the bachelor and we will be constructing the ultimate bachelor pad. Here are the questions…

1) What feature is a “must have” of this bachelor pad?
2) What car is parked out in the driveway of the bachelor pad?
3) Every great bachelor pad has a poster of a nice looking broad. Whose poster is hanging prominently in this bachelor pad?
4) What beer is on tap in the bar?
5) What part of the bachelor pad is most likely to annoy the ladies who come for a visit?
6) So you decide no bachelor pad is complete without a stand-up video game machine. Which one do you buy?

The level of reverence and love seems to be waning. The founding fathers take note.

The deviation seems to have occurred between IWS #193 and #194, tho this, of course, could not have escaped the omniscience of the founding fathers. I'm sure it has out of generosity to the mere mortals they walk among which has allowed the plebeians ample opportunity to correct their grievous error in the months since a founding father has won an IWS.

The flavor text in the rules varied slightly so the founders weren't super magnificent, I believe

I think the text flavor changes took place over a 9-year time span, really. Somebody recovered the old rules and re-introduced them way back in the day. Well, mostly because that person's writing in english was lacking, even moreso that it does today. For reference: Front Office Football Central - View Single Post - I'm With Stupid #43

Perhaps the founding fathers are still in possession of the original rules, as explained over 10 years ago?

Maybe the fathers are sending the results via pony express and we can expect to have them just before halloween!

Actually posted the results when you posted this. Baby did come early and IWS went to the back burner even though I had all of the answers in except for one late entry. (Hey I was still quicker than 90% of the people running it )
