Gmail Contacts Management Help
I have some crazy contact editing to do. This is, as in, I haven't updated my address book in about 2 years so we're talking about at least 30, if not 50, changes, adds, etc and they're compiled mostly in emails in Gmail. In fact, I'd really like to just completely redo my whole organization system from scratch- remove all labels, relabel everyone in different groups, and just do some general housekeeping.
I used to use Outlook to keep my contacts but then moved them to Gmail for portability. However, I still will check my email sometimes with Outlook, sometimes with web access, and I greatly prefer the contact interface in Outlook. Unfortunately, Gmail doesn't play nice with syncing. So, if I change my contacts in Outlook, they don't seem to stay current in Gmail or on my phone, and vice versa. But maybe I just don't have something quite configured right. I ran across this, which might address my issue but it's a bit cumbersome and seems tailored for a one time fix and not keeping things up: Die-hard Outlook fans can have the best of both worlds with Google Apps Sync | TechRepublic Also, it requires Google Apps for Business/Education, which I lack. Any thoughts from Gmail folks who use Outlook? SI

Also, I realize there's the CSV option but that's going to be ugly.
(Tho perhaps best for a large, one-time edit) SI
