Anyone ever heard of this site which is supposed to allow legal downloads of games, movies, songs, etc? It cost 23.95 for a year, so it seems like it must be some kind of scam or illegal. Yet, it came up as a prefered site when I did a google search. Anyone know anything about it?

If I remember correctly, the Screensavers on TechTV talked about this site one day. If it is the one I'm thinking of, it is based in Russia, and is avoiding all the DMCA rules and such that way. However, it would still be illegal to have possession of anything you download from that site if you are in the USA or other similar countries that have strict laws on copyright. They aren't licesning anything, just selling it

Now, that being said, this might not be the right company I'm thinking of, but I'm pretty sure it is.

Checked out the website. If you look on the FAQ, they are just providing you the tools to get the movies, they don't get you the movies or tv. It looks like from certain pics on the website that you pay $30 in order to download Kazaa, winamp and other stuff that lets you download and play the material. The site is definitely misleading, but a little digging shows its bullshit.
