Was Lance trying to engender sympathy with the 75 million bit? Madoff-esque.

Armstrong deserves to be on the all century team for biggest douche. Not really surprising, he always seemed like a douche to me even before all this doping stuff came out.

Had a better line this year. Wasnt near as explosive as prior years especially early in the season.

He certainly didnt have better physical abilities this year but he did get more patient and used his better than average line this year.

I guess no one can comeback anymore without being suspected of PEDs. The Raiders should be in the clear, normally being shitty takes away any PED talk.

All the NFL needs is one player who is seriously injured by another player who was doping, and for that player to sue the NFL and say that the NFL didn't do enough to protect players and that will be the end of the NFL as we know it.

Peyton Manning on PEDs also?

Lets just start thinking all athletes that do well are guilty despite any evidence other than them being great at what they do. Lets forget that AP is one of the hardest workers in the NFL and lets just assume PEDs were the reason he ran for 2k yards.

If you have any reason other than him having a great season to think he was on PEDs Ill apologize.

I would certainly think he was drug tested more than a few times in his life.

Has there been any more talk of a cycling amnesty commission? That seems to be something the sport could use (and, really, all sports, but cycling is probably the only one where the reported positives are prevalent enough to potentially make it worthwhile financially at this point.)

I wouldn't be altogether displeased if the NFL was forced to start over.

I'll fix this by stating:
"Lets just start thinking all professional athletes (and the vast majority of major college athletes and a significant number of high school athletes) are guilty despite any hard evidence."
and we are starting to get to the truth.

Clean drug tests prove nothing. They use PEDs that are not detectable by today's tests. How many clean tests did Armstrong have? I'll wager that a HUGE percentage of NFL players currently use HGH. The NFL doesn't test for it.

Agreed. I wonder how many incredibly shrinking players we'll see in MLB this year, since they are blood testing for HGH now. I bet a lot. I think the best thing these leagues can do is a one strike and you're out policy. It'll be the only way to really deter these guys from doing it. And even that won't be enough to keep some from trying. I can think of a Reds player who I suspect, and I wonder how much smaller he'll show up, and I'm a huge Reds fan.

When they start finding ways to test for HGH reliably, then something else will hit the market that they can't test for.

This whole thing is laughable.
