Year's Best Gloves Selected by Continental League
Wednesday, November 2nd, 2203 "Hit 'em where they ain't" is a great hitting philosophy, but it doesn't always work when a fielder can seemingly appear out of nowhere to make the play. These magicians are often taken for granted as the season grinds along, but today they take center stage. The Continental League Best Fielder Awards selections for 2203 are: Pitcher: Cory Stagg (Halifax Winter Wolves) Catcher: António García (Leduc Bullets) First Baseman: José Álvarez (Apex Assassins) Second Baseman: Jorge Romero (Apex Assassins) Third Baseman: Toby Cotterell (Napa Valley Winemakers) Shortstop: Pedro Barbán (Cleveland Cyclones) Left Fielder: Juan Rúbio (Cleveland Cyclones) Center Fielder: Timothée Tremblay (Cleveland Cyclones) Right Fielder: Naizen Kobayashi (Brooklyn Brownstones) 2203 Best Fielder Awards Trophies Given out by RL Wednesday, November 2nd, 2203 On the defensive side of the game pitchers always get the glory, but the best pitchers know their success hinges on the gloves behind them. The defensive dream team in the Republic League for 2203 has been announced, and the Best Fielder Awards trophies will be presented to these outstanding fielders: Pitcher: Jesús García (Tokyo Catfish) Catcher: Ernesto Martínez (Colorado Rancheros) First Baseman: Nobuyoki Endo (Toronto Marlboros) Second Baseman: Gabe Payton (Toronto Marlboros) Third Baseman: Matsu Kamihara (Omaha Bees) Shortstop: Dorian Dagenais (Hammersmith Hooligans) Left Fielder: Ricardo Rodríguez (Ann Arbor Winged Lingerines) Center Fielder: Vincente Torres (Hartford Riverhawks) Right Fielder: Kien-lung Si (Omaha Bees)

Hyde, I saw you on HBT the other day!
I find it hard to get into MLB these days. Ever since I lost the Braves on TBS every night, and refusing to support either the Yankees or Mets, I lost pretty much all desire to "follow" baseball more than a cursory 50,000 foot view (reading national blogs, etc). Last year was the first year in about 15 I didn't even play fantasy

I'll probably wait until the Fathers Day $50 dollar deal to get mlb.tv this year. Until then there are tons of websites that stream games for free. It's not HD, but it's good enough, and it's free. first row sports wiziwig atdhe
