Truck Rental With Trailer Hitch?
Anyone here have any experience with renting a truck or an SUV with a trailer hitch?
I am going to be helping a friend move to Vegas, but she doesn't have that much stuff (should all fit in a Uhaul trailer), and a moving truck rental (Uhaul, Penske, etc.) is crazy stupid expensive.

Make sure you get a sleeve, not all balls and hitches fit all trucks.

Most trick rentals actually have in the fine print you can nt tow with it.
Ryder trucks is the line exception I am aware of. |

yeah. I work pretty closely with Enterprise and the don't allow towing, other car rental companies as well. You will likely have to do Uhaul. |

I've done the Uhaul thing multiple times...but all local moves. I assume if you are going outside of a certain radius from their location, you're getting dinged for mileage?
