Winter Weather thread 2012/13

Looks like I picked the perfect day tomorrow to drive from Cincinnati to New Jersey tomorrow. At least we are staying overnight in PA so the drive will be broken up.

We're flying up to Chicago tomorrow but it looks like the weather should be past there by then and it will just be cold.

Interstate 29 is closed north of KC Intl. Airport. Lines down around Liberty. We closed the winery today. Just no need to have people even going out in this mess.

We have about 6 inches of wet snow this morning, with 6 to 8 more on the way. Top it off with wind they say could hit 40 mph wind gusts. Happy I have a fire place and and atv with a plow.

Good thing all my employees live either on the farm or less than a mile away! No excuses to not come to work as the cows certainly aren't taking the day off.

-6 degrees on the drive to work this morning, but no snow! Thankfully, no wind, either.

Looks like Winter is going to finally come to an end here in Central WI. We will get our FIRST 50+ degree day on Friday. The high is predicted to be 60 and I don't think it will drop all the way below 50 within a few days..so it SHOULD be our first 50 degree day.... Wow, I've been looking forward to it. I expect my facebook will be loaded with, "What a beautiful day.." "I forgot what warmer weather feels like.."

And I will probably be one of those people. If it wasn't the last Friday of the month I'd probably take the day off. Oh, well. I'll have to enjoy the near 70 degree Sunday prediction. Woot. Finally. Some motherfuckin' shorts weather. Get to actually play baseball with the little guy outside in normal weather too. Don't need to wear motherfuckin boots anymore. Okay, enough swearin, but I'm just that excited.
