Katrina took care of that. Most people got bused to Memphis and Houston.

True story. My road trip last year to finish up the remaining counties in the Mid-Atlantic states took me through Philly (first time seeing Independence Square) and into central/southern New Jersey. I got into the Camden area wanting to go northeast before heading south. I made a couple of wrong turns and ended up driving up many blocks of Mt Ephraim (I believe) and right into the side streets around Lourdes Medical Center and then a dead-end around Pine St being intimidated by a couple of dirt bikers (I was trying to get back on 30). Been to many places like that in all of my travels around the country but I did think this was probably not the best place to wander around in.

Nice to see this list when I signed a lease in Indianapolis today. Not close to either of those areas though.

There's a lot of yippy little dogs in my neighborhood and an old lady who tells depressing stories if she catches you on a walk.

Greenville represent. I've only driven on the very edge of the area listed, the outlet at the bottom. That small section looks like a horrible hellhole, but there is a pretty good soul food restaurant over there.

Spartanburg is a shitole, though.

The competition is on for next year's top prize. Neighborhood in red is the bronze winner from last year. The circle in blue is the site of a triple shooting last night.
