This Year's Best Gloves Chosen by CL
Wednesday, October 30th, 2211 The Best Fielder Awards winners don't get the recognition of the home run hitters, but they are very much appreciated by managers, their teammates and by the fans, who know the value of defensive excellence. Great defense makes a difference in baseball. This year's top glovemen in the Continental League are: Pitcher: León Martínez (Noblesville Millers) Catcher: Sixto Gracía (Leduc Bullets) First Baseman: Daniel Díaz (Apex Assassins) Second Baseman: Thomas Dean (Noblesville Millers) Third Baseman: James Moore (Noblesville Millers) Shortstop: David Laconi (Cleveland Cyclones) Left Fielder: Ramón Fuentes (Napa Valley Winemakers) Center Fielder: Stan Johnson (Napa Valley Winemakers) Right Fielder: David Tatum (Baltimore Gothams) 2211 Best Gloves Picked by RL Wednesday, October 30th, 2211 Who are the Best Fielder Awards winners? They are the guys that steal outs. They make spectacular plays, but they also consistently make the routine plays. 2211 Top Batter Honored By CL
Sunday, November 3rd, 2211 John Somers has been around Front Office Offseason League enough to know a good hot streak when he sees one -- and he got to see one firsthand all year. For his standout run through the 2211 season, he's taking home the Hideaki Tanaka Award in the Continental League. The Brooklyn shortstop put up a batting average of .319 with 40 doubles, 1 triple, 29 home runs and 95 RBIs. RL's Premier Hitter, Hernández of Atlanta Sunday, November 3rd, 2211 What a way to finish off the year -- being honored with the 2211 Hideaki Tanaka Award in the Republic League. It had already been a very special season for Atlanta's Ramón Hernández, but today's announcement really put the icing on his cake. All season long Ramón Hernández gave opposing pitchers fits by hitting .341 as he collected 223 hits, 42 doubles, 5 triples, 33 home runs and 124 RBIs.

This draft was shite. I can't remember Murphy off of the top of my head, although what good players there were were mostly hitters, so you're probably good there, with the third position player picked.
