Hmm some of the US items are typically American.
Largest frying pan, 4.5 metres (15 ft) in diameter, adorns the Rose Hill, North Carolina
Largest man-made excavation, Bingham Canyon Mine, 0.75 miles (1.2 km) deep, 2.5 miles (4 km) wide, and covering 1,900 acres (7.7 km²)
World's largest man made structure ever built, Fresh Kills Landfill

And two that seem less American...
Largest onshore wind power plant, Roscoe Wind Farm with 781 MW of total capacity
Largest solar thermal power plant, Solar Energy Generating Systems with 354 MW of total capacity

A 15 and a half hour film? I think I'll pass.

Iran has the highest natural background radiation? That either explains a lot or they took the reading near one of their nuclear reactors and said... no, that must be natural, we have nothing nuclear here, please move on...

It´s actually a "movie" in the same sense as each GOT season is a movie. It´s a book adaption broadcast as a 13 part TV series that was shown as a whole once in a single cinema three decades later.

When I went to Rutgers, I spent a summer on Fresh Kills Landfill doing environmental research. It was hot, smelly, and laden with ticks and other creatures. I would imagine it almost got that name from the reaction of people to being there. But yes, it is on the Arthur Kill, hence the name

Largest volcanic explosion, largest crocodile, largest legal tender note. It's more fun in the Philippines.

Or, where I learned that Bulgaria, for some reason, has the world's highest home ownership rate, (ratio of owner-occupied units to total residential units), at 97%.
