Outlook issue - inbox displaying "To" and not "From" on emails

Outlook 2010 - anyone had this happen? How do I fix it (and no it's not my computer, it's my business partner, who is out of town on a trip).

It's not "arrange by" - tried that already.

There is a field under Options when you have a reply or new message open where you can toggle the FROM line on or off.

And that affects what displays in your inbox?

I'm talking about like if you just open your Outlook...looking down at your list of messages. Instead of the message saying who it's from across from the date and above the subject, it's displaying who it is TO (him) across from the date.

Right click the To Column and one of the options should be "field chooser" where you can pick which fields to display and/or remove

It's like maybe he somehow customized the view to swap from and to?

OK, if you are looking at the list of messages, then you can right click the TO header line which should give you a list that says "field chooser" at which point you can choose which fields it is showing, including FROM. Plus, you can choose to remove a column if you don't want to see it.

What if you're in the compact view because you have your folders open along one side and a reading pane on the other?

I'm in compact view, and I can still see the headers of each column to right click on.

Cool - I sent him step-by-step instructions (complicated of course by the fact that I'm on Outlook 2007 not 2010 with the redesign) so hopefully he can handle it.
