I saw Guns N Roses in concert in ...1994? maybe
I know the illusion albums were already out, and it was before the metallica/gnr mega tour debacle.

Anyway it was apparent early on the Axl and Slash were in tune that night and they played a hella long show. Including covers of Shoot To Thrill, Satisfaction, a Doors medley including Light my Fire and Riders on The Storm, and finally Tuesdays Gone that they morphed straight into November Rain without pause.

Anyway if I could ever get a recording of that I'd be a happy man.

There is just a blurb on youtube of Layne Staley singing lead on Nearly Lost You with the Screaming Trees. Damn, would love to hear the whole thing.

I think Wilson Pickett would have done a kickass job covering Deep Purple's Hush.
