Head to head, 14 team league, PPR, with salary restricted keepers

Won it last year (only time in 13 years!) so picking at #14 every round, don't think I'll be winning it this year!

Keepers
QB Kaepernick (traded DeMarco Murray for CK for better keeper options)
RB Foster
WR Wayne
WR Amendola

Drafted
QB Tannehill
RB DeAngelo Williams
RB Jonathan Stewart
RB Ben Tate
WR Roddy White
WR James Jones
WR Rod Streater
WR Donnie Avery
TE Antonio Gates
TE Rob Housler
K David Akers
K Greg Zuerlein
DL Michael Johnson
DL Anthony Spencer
LB Clay Matthews
LB Jerrell Freeman
DB Devin McCourty
DB Thomas DeCoud

Early on all the decent RBs were either keepers or drafted, so decided to go 1 RB 4 WR most weeks instead of the traditional 2/3.
So RB is not quite as weak as it looks, and I'm looking at it as Houston RB and Panthers RB as backup

I'm in a tough division: of the four teams three of us are traditionally in the top 5 in power rankings, and this year it's the other one that is power ranked #1 after the draft. So i reckon if I get into the playoffs I'll have done well.

All depends on Kaepernick really for me.

I almost feel bad - these are my old college buddies, and we put money on the league. I've won it 3 of the last 4 years (lost in the championship game two years ago or it would be 4 straight). Most of them are unabashed homers who will draft for their own team, and we have a Dolphins, Vikings and Colts fan in that vein. It's almost cheating.

I haven't played many 14 team leagues and I've never played with IDP, so I don't know how much my opinion matters. That being said, your team looks crazy weak at RB. If Foster isn't healthy, you are completely screwed at that position. I'd try to trade White or Amendola immediately for a decent RB.

This is one of the best parts of fantasy football. We have an unabashed 49er fan in one of my leagues, and we start trash talking him before the draft even starts. He ended up with the first pick this year, and we put odds on him taking Kaepernick with the 3.1 pick well before the draft started. When he picked Kaepernick there the place lit up.

No doubt about going run'n'shoot is a risk, but I'm happy to see how the first couple of weeks pan out. But I reckon I might end up following your course of action!

Heh.

McFadden & Chris Givens for Demaryius Thomas....c'mon dude, make the deal!

edit: Damn. Seems like he decided to be smart, and not go for my dastardly schemes.
