Props to kurtism for making me aware of it (typically we don't have Disney Channel on and favor Nickelodeon). Penguins is great too.

God, my daughter is obsessed with the horrible "Suite Life" shows.
They are mind-numbingly horrible. |

Be thankful, it could be worse. She could be hooked on Big Time Rush, which is a modern-day version of The Monkees except with less talent, less charisma, and significantly worse writing.

the only reason I knew is because my niece was watching and mentioned something about it. I had honestly never seen a second of the show until last night, and only saw it because I was waiting to claim the TV to watch Survivor. |

Yes, this show sucks. The only cool thing about it is one of the Higgins Boys is on it. But then again, that's more sad than cool.

I've watched this show more times than I care to admit, thanks to my niece.
One thing I haven't figured out. What happen to Carly's parents? Are they suppose to be dead? What does Spencer exactly do besides make crappy "art"? Is that his job? I know, I'm reading too much into a tween show. I also heard Cosgrove's music. She can't sing. I don't see her being much more than a kid/tween star. Last edited by Galaxy : 05-16-2011 at 05:25 PM. |

Compared to most of the shows on these channels, this one is fairly entertaining. At least the first 24 times you've seen each episode...

Not sure how, but this is one show my daughter, soon to be 7, hasn't jumped on.
But I guess with Lemonade Mouth on every other hour, there is only so much time in the day. Also, semi-related...the actress that plays Dino Dan's mom isn't too bad. The only thing that makes the show tolerable, because Dino Dan is reaching Caillou-levels of annoying!

+1 It's odd when I get upset when P&F is on, and my kids want to watch something else. How could you ever pick anything over that show?

At least that show is over now (I think). I saw some ad for a graduation show that looked like a series finale. Good Luck Charlie is an awful, awful show, too. The baby's got barely anything to do with the show - it's like someone decided to make a show where, instead of adding the annoying baby 3-4 seasons in, they'd start with that premise. They should be shot just for coming up with the idea.

I didn't recognize her from the show at all. Funny, though - I read this thread with my wife sitting next to me and when I google image'd her, we sat there picking out all the titty shots together.
I'm old and have been married too long.

YES! I meant to post something about her in the Random Thoughts thread. Last week, I was home with my 8 year old, who's several years beyond Sprout. But she was watching one of those horrendous Spongebob or Disney shows, and I couldn't take it anymore, so I grabbed the remote and started looking for something better. And I remembered her from way back when. So we ended up watching about 10 minutes of Nina putting Star to bed. It was glorious.

Discussed here Kid's programming - Front Office Football Central Haven't watched Sprout in year now, but assuming it's still Nina?

Yes, although I have no clue if it is new or just repeats. The kids change every 2 years, so they could just put it on repeat and never miss a beat.

So if this is "that" thread, I feel I need to mention the Choo Choo Soul girl on Disney. I don't know what it is about her. I don't find her particularly gorgeous, but she is mesmerizing in a way that I am pretty sure is wrong. Maybe it is because she always ends her song with "All Aboard!" I dunno. It had to be said. |

The Choo Choo soul CD was a staple in our car a few years back. I was pleasantly surprised the first time I saw them singing on Disney channel. So...yes...I'd run a train on the Choo Choo Soul girl (Genevieve I think?)

Yeah, that's where I saw her name pop up, but I didn't recognize it - I figured paired with SJU she must be a Playmate. So, I googled, found out "ohhhh, that's who she is" and then found "WHOA!!"

Watching Sam & Cat. Realizing a couple things.
1. iCarly probably would have gotten along just fine w/o Carly. 2. McCurdy, now that she's grown up a little, actually has a nice little bod.
