IWS #219 - Stupid starts a rock band
The Rules
The rules are the same as previous FOFC “I’m With Stupid" Contests, as set forth by whoever created the game, and probably isn't even on the forum any more. The object of this contest is to answer the questions posted, and to provide the most common answer among those submitted. For each question, your score will be equal to the number of people who submitted that response. Your score for the contest will be the product of your individual question scores. For the mathematically challenged, product means they are multiplied together, not added. Highest score wins. Collaboration of any kind is strictly forbidden. No posting your answers to this board, nor sharing them by e-mail or in any other way with other potential contestants. There are no prizes other than everlasting glory, so the need to cheat shouldn't be an issue. All determinations of "matches" and anything else requiring judgment fall to that of the sole administrator of this round of the game. You can reduce the need for doubt and judgment by properly spelling your submissions, being clear, and that sort of thing. My decisions are final and utterly inarguable, no exceptions. Any references that are unclear to you, due to language or geography, should be understood to be authored from the perspective of an English-speaking American. However... Your answers do not necessarily have to be correct in order to score points. If I ask "What is the most influential rock band of all time" and you answer "Nirvana" along with 13 other people, you each will be awarded 14 points -- even though the correct answer is "The Beatles". ******************************************************* The Hall of Heroes

For all questions, the person can be living or dead. Assume Stupid has a time machine. 1. Stupid starts out by recruiting the greatest lead singer of all time. Who does Stupid get? 2. Now Stupid needs a guitarist. Which guitar player is playing the hot licks for Stupid's band? 3. Somebody needs to set the beat. Which drummer did Stupid get to sit at the back of the stage? 4. Stupid needs a bassist to hold everything together. Who is laying down the groove for the band? 5. Stupid is in awe of this collection of musicians, and has to get in on the act. What instrument is Stupid playing in the band alongside the other musicians? 6. Stupid is not very creative. He knows he needs a cool name for his band, but can't think of one. He decides to rip off a name from a real band. What real band name does Stupid think is the coolest? Please PM your answers to me with "IWS #219" in the title.
