Yes another Cle dynasty
I’m starting a career with the Cleveland Browns. The level of play will be Wall Street and GM(myself) can be fired. I will play a game a day and give you an in depth analysis of the game. Also I will go around the league week by week and inform you on notable injuries and who were the top performances. Also when it gets closer to the playoffs I will keep you posted on the notable games. I’m going to zip through the exhibition games and just give you the highlights and the end of the 4 weeks. If you guys could, give me your comments on how I try to make the horrendous Cleveland Browns into a superbowl dynasty. Tell me what you think I did wrong or the right moves I’ve made. Your comments will entice me to keep posting my long descriptive career. Thanks for your support
Well here I am stuck with one of the worst rosters in the league but a lot of cap to move players around. First I start with a few trades. These players I traded are the players who I either don’t like or will I feel will have no impact on this season or upcoming season. Trade DE D.Alexander & 5th rnd to N.O. for a 2nd rnd Trade LB J.Miller to Chi for 3rd rnd Trade RB T.Kirby to S.D. for 5th rnd Trade QB T.Detmer to Phi for LB J.Trotter My second move was to release the garbage. I release: WR: D.Zola (350,000) WR: R.Powell(350,000) T:C. Ruhman(440,000) DE:C.Diaz (280,000) DT:S. Colinet(440,000) DT:B.Duff (430,000) CB:R.Jackson(440,000) S:T.McTyer(440,000) I only signed three players: QB:E.Kramer(1 yr 720,000) RB:E.Bennett(1yr 440,000) G:E.McIver(1yr 440,000) There are 22 players whos contracts are up after the season. I have yet to renogotiate any players. I will have to see how they perform first before I give them an extension on their contracts. I’m 31,720,000 under the cap with the release of some players and the trades I’ve made. The coach is 38 yr old Cornelius Parker. He is signed for 5 yrs. for 680,00 a yr. Coach Parker has 0 Exc, 2VG, 5 Good, 5 Fair and 2 poor (K & young talent). Since I will be rebuilding my team with the draft and young players I may have to consider hiring a coach next year who is at last VG in young talent. The scout is 55yr old Sean Hamilton. He is signed for 2 yrs for 140,000 a yr. Scout Hamilton has 1 Exc, 4 Good and 4 Fair. My opening day depth chart the the pre-season looks like this: QB:Couch LT:Lindsey RB:Rhett LG:Mauler FB:Saleh C:Wohlabugh WR:Johnson RG:Pyne SE:Chiaverini RTBrown LE:Brown CB:Little LTHolland CB:McCutcheon RTThompson S:Fuller LE:Roye S:Ellsworth OLB:Jones MLB:Trotter ILB:Moore Well here we go. Pre-seaon weeks 1-4 re-cap Week 1 33-10 win vs. Eagles Week 2 16-38 loss vs. Bears Week 3 17-10 win vs Redskins Week 4 3-22 loss vs Packers Well we have some good news and some VERY BAD NEWS!! Good news first; we won 2 games Bad new is QB (and the future of the Browns) T.Couch is out for 2-3 months with a spraines back. Damn! So bring on E.Kramer I picked up QB Shane Mathews for 1 yr 440,000. Other notable injuries around the league are: Chi QB C.McNown out 2-3 months with a torn thimb ligament Den LB J.Mobley out 2-3 months with torn calf muscle Ind T A.Meadows out 2-3 months with broken fibula Phi CB T.Vincent out 2-3 momths with hip pointer Stl WR A.Hakim out until playoffs with elbow ligimate surgury Week 1 Regular Season Advance Scouting Report of the Jacksonville Jaguars. Jax won the toss in OT and took the ball first. On their second play of OT LB Jones intercepted it and ran for 21 yds. Of course Cle couldn’t do anything on O and went 3 plays for 1 yd. That left Dawson a 42 yd FG to win the game. All I have to say is wide left. Our defense kept us in the whole game. The defense defiantly came out to play with 6 sacks (many with 1 and 2 players with ½) and 3 Int (2 from Ellsworth, 1 ran for a td) but the offense never got on track. A matter of fact P Gardocki punted 11 times. We had 10, 3 and outs. I’m beginning to think that without Couch in the lineup our offense is going to pathetic. Also I’ve decided to stick with Kramer the whole game and change is plating time number from 3 to 7. The Week's Top Performances: Quarterbacks: Drew Bledsoe, NED, QB - 20 for 37, 374 yards, 2 TDs. Brad Johnson, WAS, QB - 23 for 30, 356 yards, 3 TDs. Chris Chandler, ATL, QB - 22 for 37, 303 yards, 4 TDs. Running Backs: Ricky Williams, NOS, RB - 22 carries for 138 yards, 1 TDs. Fred Taylor, JAX, RB - 20 carries for 101 yards, 1 TDs. Receivers: Sean Dawkins, STL, WR - 9 receptions for 176 yards, 0 TDs. Randy Moss, MIN, WR - 5 receptions for 146 yards, 2 TDs. Defensive Players: Mo Lewis, NYJ, LB - 15 tackles, 1 assists, 0.0 sacks, 0 interceptions. Brian Dawkins, PIT, S - 10 tackles, 0 assists, 0.0 sacks, 2 interceptions. Offensive Player of the Week: Brad Johnson, QB, Washington Redskins Defensive Player of the Week: Percy Ellsworth, S, Cleveland Browns (Hey look at that  Only notable injury was G.B. RB D.Levens Out 3-5 weeks with a sprained knee Well that’s it for my first post and my 1st loss. I expect to lose a few more this season (a lot w/out Couch). Next week I play idle Bengals. I’ll be crossing my fingers until tommorow for the 1st win of the season. |

Pardon me for the confusion (and alreayd straying off topic here) but are you the same person who posts under the name "Borth32" or is there an odd coincidence at work here? Or perhaps something more sinister...
