OT - NFL injuries
I decided to do a little work into how many injuries there are in the "real" NFL. I took the injury lists for each team and counted how many were out, doubtful, questionable, and probable. A small problem is that each team uses their own definition for each label, but never mind. I separated the players on injured reserve.
Here's what I found: Out - 22 (.7 per team) Doubtful - 22 (.7) Questionable - 86 (2.7) Probable - 88 (2.8) Subtotal - 218 (6.8) Injured reserve - 122 (3.8) Total players injured - 340 (10.6) The conclusion I draw is that the injury level in FOF 2004 is NOT unrealistic, even when cranked up to 200. I keep it at 125 mainly to keep the frustration level manageable for me. |
