All-inclusive Mexico?
I'm looking to go to Mexico at the end of January for 7 nights with some friends. Does anyone here have a nice play they can recommend that would be around $1500Cdn?
I've only been to an all-inclusive once (last year for a wedding) at this place: Now Jade Riviera Cancun Resort & Spa (Riviera Maya, Mexico - Puerto Morelos) - Resort (All-Inclusive) Reviews - TripAdvisor That one cost $1600Cdn last year and it was a nice experience. The first page of reviews on tripadvisor was my general opinion of the place too, so I want to trust the reviews in general... but most places that I've randomly found within my price range (and slightly above or below) have had things in the reviews that didn't make me want to stay there. Thanks! |

A couple of my friends have had a great time at one of the Barcelo Maya places. They have several different levels in the same complex, so they should have one to fit the price you are looking for.

7 nights is a long trip. Any thoughts on shortening it but keeping the same budget? 5 nights will still be a nice time and could probably get you a step up in hotel class.
But otherwise, with any place you're going to, you're spending $200/night for a room and all your food and drinks included and you're on the beach with your friends. Keep your expectations reasonable and you should have a great time. I got married at, and have since been back to, Azul Beach Hotel which isn't too far from the place in your link. It's pricier but with that you would expect a pretty strong uptick in the quality of the food, and it's awesome. Depending on any specials they run, you might be able to go there for 5 nights (or their comparable adults only) with your budget. |

Thanks for the recommendations guys! Yeah, 7 nights seems long but that's what I did during my only other all-inclusive trip and it felt like a good amount to get away from the snow.
